Here is the short version of the required information for an @kaycee.net account:
- Incoming mail server: mail.kaycee.net
- POP3 Username/Login: joesmith@sopris.net (your full email address)
- Outgoing mail server: smtp1.kaycee.net
- My outgoing server requires authentication should be enabled. If it asks for a username and password you would use your full email address as the username and your email password for the password.
Here are some screenshots showing the proper setup in some of the more popular email clients. You should change your email program to match the settings in the screenshots, but substituting in your actual email address when necessary. After you start up Outlook Express, click on "Tools", then "Accounts" and then the "Mail" to get to the following screen:You should click on your kaycee.net account and then click on "Properties" to get here. You should change the description name if it is currently mx.kaycee.net which is above the "User Information" section:
You should on click on the "Servers" tab and verify the following information in this screenshot:

You can click on the "Settings" button that is under the "Outgoing Mail Server" section to verify the last information is correct according to the screenshot below:

After you start up Outlook, click on "Tools", then "Email Accounts" to get to the following screen:

Make sure the selection dot is by "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and click "Next" to get to the following screenshot:
Make sure your kaycee.net account is selected by clicking on it once and then click on the "Change" button to get to this next screenshot and verify all your account information is correct:
Finally click on the "More Settings" button and then the "Outgoing Server" tab and verify your settings match this last screenshot:

After you start up Mac Mail, click on "Mail" and then "Preferences" to get to a screen similar to the following (you might need to click on the "Accounts" icon) and then verify your information is correct according to the screenshot:

If your "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" is not correct then click on the "Up and Down" arrows at the end of the current server's name and then click on the "Add Server" menu item to pull up the following screenshot (you will need to fill out all of the information):
